General Policies |

Valley View Daycare does not discriminate against race,
sex, and national or ethnic origin.
All registration fees and paperwork are required before a child may
attend Valley View Daycare. All registration fees are non-refundable.
This includes any and all materials and or items purchased by Valley
View Daycare. If you decide to leave the program and return, you will
have a 6 (six) month grace period in which you will not have to pay a
re-registration fee.
Absences
If your child will be absent, please call 636-464-8730. Tuition must be
paid even if your child is absent. After 6 (six) months of continuous
enrollment, you will receive 1 (one) week of vacation per year. A new
year will begin on your enrollment date.
Illness and Injury
If the following conditions are observed in your child they may not
attend Valley View Daycare until they have been symptom free for 24
hours.
*Fever of 100 degrees or above
*Vomiting
*Diarrhea
*Rash of unknown origin
*Conjunctivitis (Pink Eye)
There is no reduction in fees for time off due to sickness.
Lunches
All food is prepared by our staff on the premises. All meals are
provided for your child. If you choose to have your child bring their
own meals there will be no reduction in daycare fees. Please do not
bring special items unless you bring enough for the child’s entire
group. This does not apply to sack lunches.
Medications
We will not administer any over the counter medication to your child. In
some extreme cases, your doctor may send a note, on a prescription pad,
stating the proper dosage and time to be administered. All prescription
medications will be turned into the office, in its original container,
with proper dosage and name on label. We will provide a sheet listing
the person giving the medication, the date, and time it is to be
administered.
All children entering a program 3 years of age and older must be fully potty trained and able to use standard bathroom facilities.
A $25 charge will be issued on all returned checks. Valley View Daycare reserves the right to demand cash payments if it felt that it is necessary.
Children must be brought into the facility by their parent or guardian and signed in on the appropriate sheet. Children may not be dropped off earlier than 6:00 A.M.
No child is to be left in the hall unattended. A teacher or supervisor needs to accept the child from the adult.
Children must be picked up and signed out no later than 6:00 P.M. There will be a $1.00 per minute fee assessed after 6:00 P.M. All persons are subject to identification checks. Please have ID readily available. We will not release a child to anyone that is not on the approved pickup list. Phone requests are not acceptable. Written and signed permission received from a parent is acceptable.
